I am an NC native who has lived in the Wake Forest area since 1984.
My education is in Biology and I worked 30 years in data processing for NCSU. I am also an artist and my work can be seen at the Artists’ Loft located upstairs at Wake Forest Coffee Company in downtown Wake Forest.
In the summer of 2012, a serious and painful bout of Plantar Fasciitis caused me to seek the help of a reflexologist in Salisbury, NC. Up to that point, nothing else was working and I was ready to try anything. Much to my surprise, reflexology worked. After one treatment, I was pain free. With seeing the benefits from that session, I wanted to help others too, so I signed up for the classes.
I am now a graduate of the Reflective Wellness Academy.
I have also studied Chi Reflexology and have completed several classes taught bybMoss Arnold–founder of the Autralian College of Chi-Reflexology.
It is understood that reflexology is a holistic therapy. It is important as well to see reflexology as a complementary therapy. I want to work with conditions that my clients present and to have a collaborative relationship with their medical professional in the care and outcomes of treatment for my clients.
